I'm 35weeks and 4days gone now, it;s my 1st so not exactly sure what 'braxton hicks' feels like but im sure i haven't had any yet.
Lately ive been getting slight period type pains, nothing major and doesnt last long.
Ive heard that with 'braxton hicks' u get a tightening of the stomach, like practice contractions.
Anyways, hope everything goes well for you ;) x

Hello! My first is nearly five months old now and reading your thread made me remember thinking the same at about the same time. Braxton-Hicks are a strange feeling, your abdomen gets really hard all over. If you feel the difference between prodding your cheek and prodding your forehead it's sort of like that. I also got a lot of period-type pains sort of from my hip bones down towards my pubic bone - this was caused by ligaments etc, and intensified as the head engaged round about week 32 for me. Hope this helps - happy pregnancy!
