im trying to find my wife mom,all the sites i have checked is pay sites,we dont have the money to pay for any more sites,so how is the best ways to find someone for free

Does your wife have her birth certificate? This will show her mother's name. We found my husband's birth mother using his. Her name was quite an unusual one and he visited St Catherine's House, (I think that's the name of the Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages).
We found that she had eventually married the man who was his father, and where.

We then trawled through the phone books of the area and found them that way.
