How do I configure "Skype" to open when I switch on me comp????????

There's an option when you open the application, just underneathg the password box.

Sign me in when Skype starts

and

Start Skype when the computer starts.

If that's no good, then go into Tools > Options and under General settings there's a tick box with Start Skype when Windows starts

One of those should do the trick.

1) Go to System Preferences/Accounts/Log in Items and remove the Skype entry from the list. Log out from your OS X user account and log back in.

or

2) Right click on the Skype icon on the dock and uncheck Open at Log in.
