3 Answers
Just replaced car battery in my rover and it will not start. Lights are coming on ok on dashboard but will not turnover. Sounds like immobiliser problem but not sure, any advice?

but if it is an immobiliser fault sit in car and split your keyfob open as if replacing battery.
take out battery, then push both buttons together for a few seconds to discharge key fob.
put battery back in and try starting car.
you can also try this again if it doesnt work first time and lock and unlock the car using the fob befor trying to start it.
