Ovarian Cancer
4 Answers
I have read up on the symptoms of ovarian cancer and, although I hate to sound like a hypochondriac, I'm worried in case how I feel could be indicative of the illness. I have lower back pain and lower abdomen discomfort which feels like permanent period pain. My periods are more regular than they ever have been but - sorry to sound graphic - they start as a tiny trickle, go on to be really heavy for a few days and then go back to being a trickle. This lasts for about a week. Dont know about the painful sex bit as me and the hubby havent done it for some time :o(.
I'm extremely tired all the time and feel nauseous most of the time. My stomach is quite bloated too.
I do intend to go to my GPs on Monday but has anyone any advice please. Many thanks x

Go to see your GP and be prepared for an examination with a finger up your back passage, your gp will be able to tell whether you have a cyst and will no doubt send you for a scan. Hope all goes well for you.
Advice.......stop worrying until or unless you have something to worry about.
Symptoms sound gynaecological, but one needs to examine you and arrange scans before diagnosis and ultimately treatment.
Ovarian Cancer.......could be.....as an "outsider" bit there are many more favourites than that rank outsider.
