Talk about me {:)
Certainly not! The charity shops are thriving !!!
Too big to die but there are a fair few less shops than there were.

Eating out has gone seriously cheap too, the food places must be suffering as there are offers all over.
Packed when I last went - but it was before Christmas. Sure lots shops shut according to local paper though.
Mine will be dead this Saturday....
You could get mugged in mine anytime - I wouldn't exactly call that "dying" - would you?
Haven't got a town centre , just a row of12 shops all doing O.k at the moment it seems , but like a ghost town at night . when even the chippie closes at 10pm.

so what can we do to support local shops, i bought 8 beautiful chicken thighs for a recipe too much in fact they were so big only used four, froze the rest the butcher cut these up for me and i only paid 2.80 bargain!!
poundland in our town is the only busy shop lol
No puddicat, ours is still thriving I think, anyway they reckon newcastle on a Friday night is full of scantily clad young ladies, even in January, apparently covering up is a no-no
mine died a long time ago.
we are down to one charity shop, one 99p shop, one 1 shop,2 arcades,2 money transfer shops and a bakers.
Although the bakers do'es a rather nice sausage roll
York town centre is still thriving commercially but depends a lot on the tourist industry. I use local shops such as the butchers and greengrocers but admit I do a lot of internet shopping.....
