Cant remember the name of an old TV show

Can someone tell me the name of a TV show I think it was from the early 90s - one person in it I think was called Alana - she had this headband thing round her forehead with a jewl in the middle - and I can remember she travelled in this big crystal thing (big, made of a frosted glass) I dont think anyone will remember but it's been bugging me for ages.
