dont know where this should go but can anybody tell me the differance between formal and informal documents???

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.in what context? You can have formal documents in many fields, law being an obvious one, or any contract. It usually imples there are some laws or rules that require certain elements in the document (signatures, descriptions of things involved etc); but someitmes things not strictly done according to the rules may be acceptable (eg I think a court once upheld a dying man's will, which just read 'All for Mum').
