TV Programme featuring a car called speedy

I remember years ago watching a tv programme geaturing a car (VW Beetle type possibly) which was called Speedy. I can't remember if it was an animation/cartoon, but I'm desperate to find out what it was, or anything about it. Please can anybody HELP! I used to love SPEEDY! Thanks!

I have absolutely no recollection of this at all, but I guess you're thinking of Speed Buggy

Speed Buggy (a Hanna-Barbera animated series) was indeed known as Speedy. Ihave a lovely little die-cast metal model of Speed Buggy.
