the previous 2 posts bear out neurosurgon*'s claim. (And neither of them mentioned the spelling of the user name!) But I imagine it would be costly and complicated to load on to the site. Couldn't you compose your posts in Word and spell-check them there before posting?

sorry, I was referring to the first 2 posts - JjP's hadn't arrived while I was writing.

As for JjP's point - yes, computers do a lot of things for us now. Is it wrong that spelling should be one of them? I think so, and do my own spelling; but others might reasonably disagree.

A lot of spelling mistakes are typos - we are all so eager to get in our penny worth that our fingers slip and slide.  Don't you just hate it when you've posted and at the last minute you see an error and can't change it!!!

If AB can't provide a spell check facility - you could always invest in a Franklin Wordmaster TMQ-200.

Perhaps you could put it on your next birthday or christmas wish list neurosurgon*.
