Video in Skype

Have recently downloaded Skype 4, but it will not recognise my Webcam. I have reverted to Skype 3.8 and all is fine. When I try to contact Skype support, it does not accept my user name, just keeps telling me that it is wrong, although when I click on "my account" my user name is there !! Any ideas anybody ?

Initially when I downloaded Skype4 it wouldnt recognise my webcam. However, Tools<Options<Video Settings<Select webcam dropdown list corrected this.
