I just smoked 10 cigarettes in one go

I smoked half of one, then burnt the whole pack, which a real feat for me. It was all thanks to the Channel 4 documentary on 'smokers operations'. It's around on the web somewhere, anyone know where it be?

It kind of hits home pretty hard when you see some poor 35 year old unable to breathe properly.

What would you do in this situation?

I've not had any today so far. I've just about managed to give up smoking before 4pm. One step at a time!

They didn't pull any punches with the documentary. The hardest bits to take weren't the graphic operation stuff, but the 35 year old, unable to speak really properly, swinging between anger and utter grief at what this had done to him. He could only 'speak' by covering the hole they had made in his throat for him to breathe through. I was just awfully sad.

good job marge! it takes alot to quit! i know. i just did 4 months ago. i miss them alot! i would love to have one. thank god noone around me smokes menthol!

Good luck, ALLO, I know where you're coming from with the menthols.

Strangely, the little warnings on the packs have no effect on me!
