since you have 2 different exchange rates, the first thing to do is figure your weighted average exchange rate:

You got $2080 for your 1444.27, so each dollar cost on average 1.44017.

Now your partners 445 bought 445*1.44017 = $640.88,
and your 999.27 bought 999.27*1.44107 = $1439.12

this assumes that you're splitting the two batches of (different cost) dollars between yourselves, in proportion to your investment in pounds..
