DOS Prompt on switching on PC

EAch time I switch my PC on, I get the DOS prompt page, where i have to press F1 to exit and the PC will start normally. I cant get the time or date to stay in the present day, and each website I visit has a security certificate issue - I have up to date Norton and have scanned to high heaven - nothing. Help......

You have a dead BIOS battery on the motherboard. they are normally a standard button type battery and normally easily changed by the user.
