Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

I am stuck for some answers in the top left hand corner of this puzzle.

Theatre administrator (9 letters) could be ??t?n?a?s

A likely consequence i?p?i???n

that is, if 1 down is ITALIC

Also I have SITTINE for 24 across but if that is not right then the theatre administrator's last letter would be different.

I have a feeling I have made a mistake somewhere which is having a knock-on effect, so to speak.

Grateful for any assistance!

Hi Pega -- Well done for 'intendant' - not seen this word before but now added to my vocabulary! I was thinking of attendant as in 'usherette'. I would have considered 'implication' if I had been given 11 letters but Avis only gave me 9! That much harder without the grid. Cheers, ja

Thanks to everyone. I had almost decided on "implication" but it would have taken an age for me to reach "indendant" and as for "titmice" . . . well! :-)

Hey ho - it is Saturday tomorrow and so we start all over again. I do the Saturday Times T2 and Telegraph general knowledge, the Sunday Express magazine, the You magazine and the one in the Sunday Mail, and the Monday Telegraph Herculis and the monday Express.

I can only do general knowledge ones - I don't have the convoluted mind needed for the cryptic ones.
