dvd prosecution statement
i gave a dvd witness statement that prosecution are using against my fiance, the dvd was made and i was questioned whilst in a highly emotional state and under the influence of prescribed anti depessants pain killers and sleeping tablets, i have since recalled facts that render dvd inacurate i have informed police they are not interested and say i will get my chance in court, what can i do before court date if any thing

If so then they may already consider your evidence unreliable and so are not using it as primary evidence in the case.
It is not exactly true that you will have "open forum" in court as you can only be asked about what you have already said in your statement. It is unlikely you will be able to provide entirely fresh evidence.
It might be worth talking to someone like Women's Aid who might be able to advise.
