When I have converted mp3's and wma files to the Sony ATRAC system and downloaded them to the mp3 player, some previous wma tracks don't play and a message comes up saying incompatible files. However, other previous wma tracks play perfectly. Any suggestions?

do the WMA files that don't work have digital right management on them (DRM)

If they do they are copy protected and you can't convert them to play on another player, if this is the case the easiest way round it is to burn them onto CD and then rip them again.
