Gypsies get new homes due to them having to move from the Olympic site.

Surely this should be no hard deal, don't Gypsies move all the time?

We have a site near us where most are being housed into new council homes

No they don't, not if they are on a static site. If you read the article, it says they have been there for 13 years. Just like other residents who have had to move because of the olympic development, they should be re-housed.
I remember a time when councils were obliged to provide sites for gypsies and I don't recall there being as many complaints about gypsies in those days. In this case, it does seem fair that a replacement site is provided.
It'll be a rubbish tip within days.

I remember an infestation of "travellers" on Mitcham Common a few years ago. It was VILE. Human excrement in the bushes. Nobody could go near because of the dangerous dogs. And the RUBBISH when they finally left, it was heart-breaking.
So this is why knobbs was so happy and smug when he said he was finally moving out of his caravan!
