I think she has a strange accent (due to being in America maybe) and a screeching voice too, and agree that there's probably no way she'd shop in ASDA.
Oh yes, very annoying. What has this woman ever done to be on TV so much, apart from being married to a singer who was in a slighly famous rock band over 30 years ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I couldn't agree more. Not being snobbish, but if you were a multi-millionaire, would you shop in Asda? My local branch is a magnet for all sorts of life's rejects - the cheapest type of store attracts the cheapest sort of people. Get yourself to Sainsbury's or better still Waitrose, my dear.
I have to admit that I was always impressed by her stength and downright tenacity. I knew about her way back in my rockin' teens, and always knew that she was a formidable business woman and wife. But I have lost so much respect for her in the past fews years, and the Asda thing is just the last straw. It's sad to see such a strong woman selling herself like that.
I'm surprised that she is fronting the commercials, after her "council estate" image.I bet that she must have done them in a number of takes, as because of her vocabulary. "soap and water" seem to come to mind. I usually go to Asda to avoid Mr Tesco and his overcharging prices...
Don't you find in one of the ads for 'George' at Asda she gets the timing wrong. She says no matter what the mum picks the kids love it etc etc... then she says which is prefect for you first disco, at Britains lowest priced superstore. Asda mums pocket the defference. is it just me or does it sound like the girl is going to a disco at asda? I mean i knew they did clothes but!!!!
