it's very odd, not heard a single one! I'm quite perturbed by it. I wonder if they know something we don't? Unless they started very early and i missed it!

Credit crunch, recession, threat of terrorist attack, I can quite understand why the birds are not singing.

If you don't see or hear Birds it is usually because there could be a Buzzard about looking for an Easter feed.
In my locality we get frequent visits by SparrowHawk and a Buzzard

Dot the birds were really singing here, the dawn chorus like every blinkin day, and not even at dawn early hours of the morning and the birds are singing now maybe its where you live lol!!
