I have a 18 month contract phone with 3 (contract started 11/08), because I live in a rural area I am unable to get their 3G coverage but this has not been a pronblem until now because 3 used to "piggyback" onto the O2 network so I was always able to get a signal even when at home, but now they are using the orange network which has no coverage in my area, so if I want to use my phone I have to travel 2-3 miles. Can I ask them to cancel the contract as they have changed the coverage available and made my phone next to useless?
Speak with 3 and take up your complaint with the Trading Standards office. They will help you write a letter. Post it and get a proof of posting, no cost.
