I think the video your describing is The Sugababes, Angel's with dirty faces, which is a double A-side with Stronger.

or alternatively it could be any one of three tracks from the last Daft punk album, Discovery, all of which were made in a manga "battle of the planets" style, they are "One more Time", "Aerodynamic" or "Harder,better,faster,stronger"
