They recommend anti-inflammatories (ibuprofen) and analgesia such as paracetamol to bring the fever down. Just spoke to the receptionist who tells me that my blood result was 'normal'. I just asked what that meant and she said, my blood count is normal! FFS that doesn't tell me anything. I just explained the situation and she said there was a result there for viral studies, which hasn't yet been checked by the Doctor, and could I ring back later. The mind boggles...........

Honestly, I nearly burst into tears when talking with the lady on the phone. She was so dismissive, like I was wasting her time. I've been ill for 3 weeks now, and I am not getting any better. I really don't think that receptionists should give out blood test results, as they don't know what they're friggin talking about.

Hi rinkins. Easter sunday roast at my parents' (Lamb) and Easter Monday roast at my Nan's (Turkey). We're very family-orientated people, so dinner is a gathering and a feast. I managed to do all the veg both days (I'm the only one who understands the concept of Al Dente) but found myself lying on the couch for the rest of the days. Telly was utter cr@p again, so not point in staying awake anyway !!
