Push Fit Flexi pipe
Hello, I am trying to take a sink off from my kitchen. For water supply the fleixible hoses have been used. One was the compression so I am ok there. Other one used is the metal one with push fit system. How do I undo that? Please. Thanks

if the top of the flexi looks like this http://www.betterairgap.com/images/couplerplum bing.jpg
the top bit will pull down and meet the main bit and it will then pull off the copper pipe.

here we keyplus regardless of what the rest of the flexi looks like , the collar will pull back and meet the twistlock bit. it will then pull of the copper pipe . tighten an adjustable spanner loosely round the copper pipe and use the spanner for a bit of persuasion.

Thanks a lot. I managed to pull it off. To your question, I did not buy of fit this. It is in the annexe of the house I bought. I use that as office. The guy before me used to rent it as studio flat. Its a bit silly of my local council. They do not allow kitchen facility in the out building. Although they are satisfied with the use now as office but they want me to take sink and hob out. I decided to do that as before that they wanted me to remove even fittings. I told them that it is my storage place. So they agreed. Thanks King.

If you worry about O rings perishing..spend a little bit more money on your fittings and get Hep 2o fittings....
They say they will guarantee their fittings for 50 years....
Never heard of one leaking that has been properly installed....must admit I dont like the old Speedfit push fittings...the white ones with the collar you pull back to release them.
Was working in a bathroom once and the spirit level fell over and landed on the collar...it separated sending water everywhere.
Go with Hep 2o and you can wont have sleepless nights.
They are by far the best plastic fitting available.
