As Naomi says you just get your licence, choose your chapel and pay for whichever package you like. One thing I would say is that make sure you and your partner both know your parents full and your mothers maiden names and where they were born as this is one of the questions they ask on the licence form (I know it sounds mad but my partner couldnt remember which town his mother was born in!) You will also need your passport. . once you have married you can go to the following link and search for your marriage as they are recorded on the county clark website

Yes Naomi it is me who's getting married there. I got a surpise proposal and beautiful ring from my partner of 5 years. I wasn't expecting it but am deleriously happy! Both of us have been married before so we don't want the traditional wedding. Am sooo excited. Jefner, fantastic information - thanks. Why do they ask about our mothers' birthplaces? My mother was born in Sri Lanka (although she is not Sri Lankan). Can they refuse a licence based on this info? You know how the American authorities can be really pernickity about stuff like that.
yes as per my own experience you may try http://www.europeanvacation3.com for best travel deal as it have wide range of cheap travel package's regarding with air ticket as well as accommodation.
We didn't book a package. We did it entirely independently. We weren't asked any difficult questions, and we didn't have to produce passports either in order to get our licence. In fact it was astonishingly simple - we even filled the form out in pencil - and I remember saying at the time I could have written 'Minnie Mouse' on that form and I'm sure no one would have questioned it! But perhaps things have changed since then - it was 20 years ago - so take all the information with you just in case.
I'm very happy for you foodluva. Your happiness is wonderful to read - it spills over in your last post. When are you going? Let us know how you get on, won't you please? I wish you all the very best for the future. Good luck and a lifetime of happiness to you both. x

hi foodluva..not sure why the question about mothers maiden names and birthplaces.. i probably should have asked!
it is most likely for security purposes..for example if you needed a copy of the licence from them for any reason it would probably be something that only you would know and make it very difficult or practically impossible for anyone else to get a copy of your licence. sorry if i have caused you to worry about this..please dont! they must see hundreds of people from all over the world every day and they didnt seem overly concerned with the form at all and didnt check any of the info on it - it was all done very quickly..even with the long queue we were only in there for less than half an hour. i would advise you to bus or taxi there though as it is quite a way away from the main strip.. we thought we could walk it and got lost! x
