dog eating rabbits
I have free ranging mixed breed that is adept at catching rabbits which she eats. I regularly give her worm tablets, but rabbits certainly harbor a wide range of parasites. I sure hope the tablets take care of everything. She is under the care of a good vet but I still worry about her.

She is then very much off colour for a few days, like you I worm her frequently, but it is her nature I suppose.
She will also catch wild birds if they are flying at a low height say from bush to bush and eat those as well.
Not a nice scenario, for a little dog who can look so sweet and innocent.

Slightly off-subject. I saw a photograph of cute looking polar bears lying sunning themselves in the snow. They looked so cute and innocent.
At a later date I was the original of the photograph - the bears were covered in blood, all over their faces and bodies. It seems that this photograph was taken of their after dinner snooze.
Not so cute after all.
