scratch marks

 Just brought a car and noticed that there's scratch marks on the inside window.. Maybe a dog??  Can anyone come up with a way of getting rid of them please...???????

If the scratches are not too bad you can try Jewellers Rouge it is a powder that when used with a drop of water gently rubbed can get rid of the scratch, it is used by window companies to get small scratches out of finished glass, have just checked and its available in liquid form too. Hope this helps.

Jewellers Rouge is as good an idea as any, but best to eliminate the cause.  I've heard the scratches are often caused by a diamond ring when the back of the hand is used to wipe the glass. Really bad scratches can cause problems when driving at night.

For small surface scratches, try some aftershave on some cotton wool, (works on the face of watches)
