Droopy eyelid in cats
Just noticed this week that my cat has developed a droopy eyelid. Well I say that but what I actually mean is that his eye is only partially open. He's fine in every other way - walking straight, no scratching, eating normally, wants to be stroked as usual etc. Just wondering if anyone has come across this before?

Your could try washing it gently with lukewarm water, and a clean cotton hanky or damped cotton wool. (do this two three times). Always wash from the outer edge of the eye towards the nose and slightly down the side of his nose. If you try this and there's no improvement, I would let the vet have a look at it. It shouldn't be very expensive for something so minor, but he may suggest some antibiotic drops. Hope all goes well. Schutz.
His upper eyelid looked red and sore and inflamed the other day but a day after, seems to have improved. Will give it a clean (and even thats not an easy job!) and see how it goes. Trying to do anything to cats is generally a nightmare isn't it? Tablets, any kind of eye or ear drops - I'm covered in scars from past tries !!
