I keep reading on t'web was a sensation she is, especially with the yanks, and even tho we have only had one show so far, bookies are slashing the odds on her winning.

Yeah, granted, it was beautifully sung and she can hold a tune, but come on, a star, looking like that......

I daresay there will be an album, but a future star....!?

(and no I'm not having a go at the way she looks, simply that the two together are a no no)

What a coincidence...I just watched her performance on Youtube...I had not seen it last week,and only knew of it because I had come across an article about her on the internet.
Her performance brought me to tears...immediately.
...and it was not just her singing,but also her character,and personality,which shown thru.
A future star...who are we to judge? But I do hope she gets as much as she can handle,as being in the media eye is -or can be-soul dstroying ......and also as much as she deserves.

Hi Postdog, I am always kind of sceptical when people rave about singers on these talent shows, I didn't see the performance on Saturdays programme and watched it on youtube earlier this week and must say I was absolutely thrilled at her voice. I heard a clip of her singing "Cry me a river" this morning and it was amazing. I don't think for one minute the lady is going to be a 'pop' star, but think she could find success as a recording artist or even in musical theatre.

She actually said she wanted to be like Elaine Paige, but sorry, I can't see her in the theatre either - it'll take more than a voice, and I don't think she'll ever have that.

The lady has a beautiful voice and if there's any justice she will have a career with that voice, as it doesn't deserve to sink into obscurity.

She's not THAT bad looking is she? Tidy her 'brows up, do her hair, slap some classy clothes on her, she'll be as good as anyone else.

What about that Potts guy. No one thought he would make it looking as he did at the beginning. He made it big-time, and so can Susan given the right guidance.

I can't see her in a musical somehow but I do think someone will sign her up - she does have a beautiful voice.
