Rather than hijacking a newcomer's thread I belatedly reply here (work interference).
Glad I'm not alone in noticing the regular appearances of Matt Kantbebothered (or something like that). I was "positive".....but then surprised to see only 6 answers requested for Spec 1908!!! Must be on vacation or bought Chambers!!
But what will tomorrow bring? ;-)

Sorry not to have come back to you sooner. I seem to be busier than usual at the moment, and although I do answer queries appearing on the front page, I'm not trawling back as much as I used to.

In general I am happy to help anyone, especially as I have always received very generous assistance when I'm stuck or confused. But even though I think I've explained in words of one syllable ......

I don't know why I feel so protective about the Speccie, but really hoped your comments on the Very Logical Puzzle (?)would strike home. I know it's a Q & A site, but there are limits!!

I rarely ask for help, but do like to be able to assist others who are struggling for the odd answer.

As to Speccie, Inquisitor, EV, Crossword Centre, etc, I am very reluctant to give away direct answers & have been chastised in the past for doing so!

Quite agree about reasonable limits!

I see our f(r)iend re-appeared asking for multiple answers for 1909, then jumped onto someone else's thread to ask for even more! ;-(
Perhaps the easier 1910 will be a solo effort!!!
