i really hate pomposity.

It trips off the tongue - Pom. Pos. itty.
Especially the pom.

And, would you know no-know, it comes right after pomposity in the chambers' dictionary.

One. He used to be an okay sort of guy, but now he's taking pomposity to a new level. A newfound confidence that has come with maturity and promiscuity, has led to this ponce being more & more pompous.

I've changed that boy's nappies on many an occasion. Tell you what though - if he becomes too lax with all this pompous ponceing promiscuity; I won't be offering to change them in the future.

He's a great drinking buddy though, and sings his way through a brilliant Ratpack repetoire.
