Seems like this is one of the few jobs available at this time of international crisis . How would I go about applying for a post ? Seeing as it is not a steady income do you think I would have to inform the benefits people?
cathy.. sorry, my laptop is in for repair and I'm begging a share of my daughter's laptop. it's like getting blood out of a stone!
yes, there is a job trial period and it's quite generous. I can't find the details online but will have another look. one of the reasons people wouldn't look for work was that starting their claim up again (if it didn't work out) took so long. also, I guess there would be some who would use that as an excuse for not declaring work in the first place.
I tried to search for it because I didn't believe them as I couldn't see how they would be paid for a week and still get paid money from the company.
Ok thanks - not to worry looking it up for me, it was just that when someone said this I told my hubby who has half share in a small garage and he said there was a guy who came to ask him if he could have a trial and hubby said maybe we could do that. Now you've told me I'll call the job centre tomorrow and ask more details. Didn't want to tell him it was a good idea if it was under hand - don't want any trouble for being naughty!!!
Thanks , I went to the Dole today to apply for an opening I saw in the trade, but as the reason I'm on the sick is because I've chipped a bone in my shoulder that , as a Parrot on the shoulder was compulsory, I wouldn't be considered for the post .
