Plus sized women, but my bust doesn't quite measure up with my frame.

I am a plus sized women (size 20) and I only have D cup bust, which I know isn't exactly teeny tiny when you're of an average size 8 - 16, but as a size 20 my typical size would be DD and upwards and I find this every time I try to buy bras or bustiers in plus sized clothing stores.

You see I have the problem of having 'regular' sized boobs, but being a 42 right round.

Does anybody know where I can get decent 42D bras with decent support and lift, maybe even a push up with a bit of padding and preferably not too thin straps?

Both of these give the option to shop by size and 42D is available. Bravissimo is also good, but I think they might only go up to a 40 back..

Thanks Pigletion.

Also if anybody else replies, do you know maybe what type/style of bras would be the best for someone of my size?
Courtesy of Gok's How to Look Good Naked- am guessing you are either a "Juicy Girl" (pear shaped) in which case he recommends a push up plunge style bra, or a "Bellyssimo Babe" in which case he recommends a balcony bra. HTH
Beelyssimo Babe by the way is described as those women with "yummy tummies"

Sorry, naff link. Hope second time lucky, Bea :-)
Avon are now selling some of their bras in sizes up to 42F. They don't seem to have the full range on their website, but if you contact them, they'll arrange for a rep to contact you.

Bravissimo, as suggested in an earlier post, is also a good source. You might also like to take a look at Pabo, especially if you want something a little sexier.
I would suggest balconette or three quarter cups. I find full cup bras tend to look mumsy and I gather that's not the look you want.

Most of these bras have decent width straps and decent support. You usually have to try on a few different ranges to see which one fits you and your shape best, as one size from one company may look great, but the same size from another offers no support, yet others swear by them.

I find a lot of cleavage bras have thin straps which aren't the most comfortable, so a bit annoying, but ok for a night out!
Primark? They have some lovely bras in 'odd' sizes
Ethel Austin if you have a store near you
ASDA also do 'odd' sizes
