My village librarian was, as usual, lovely today. I had ordered some books & all I needed to do was walk into the library & she was up & smiling with a wonderful hello & told me they were there.
My senior partner has been very kind to me today - but only in a pitiful indulgent quite of way because he caught me singing Bee Gee's Massachusetts all falsetto this morning on my own. I think he'll be back any minute with a sick note, a committal order or some fluoxetine. :-)
Yes - everyone is always nicer when the sun shines.
It's far easier to see the good things in life when they are under a spotlight. Even the biggest problem seems slightly less unsurmountable when the sun shines, it's the best antidepressant there is.
