wordiness ect on microsoft word
5 Answers
when i was typing some coursework up, a green line came up indicating a grammar mistake.
when i clicked on it, it said 'wordiness, consider revising'
what does this mean and why has it only just started coming up. i think it said something like ,consider revising word order, before. why has it suddeny changed and does it mean the same?

As for getting more grammatical errors, maybe you're trying to get more complex thoughts across than you had before and they're not 'cominng out' very well?

wordiness means that MS word (in it's wisdom!!!) has decided you have used a sentence (or term) with redundant words in it. for example
reconsider again
the word reconsider would already imply that it has been considered before so the word "again" is redundant
or
past history
Well you can't have anything but past history so the word "past" is not needed.
