I have just bought a wooden chopping board and it is untreated. Do I need to treat it and, if so, what should I use please?

I can't believe this. you elder chaps should know better. I wooden believe it of yew.
That old chesnut? Just proves the maxim, In some conifer forests, you can't cedar wood for the trees.... We've some moss that took a lichen to a tree. If it was a palm tree you'd have a hand full, no? But I do have frond memories of some palms... Exactly what conifer tree is it?
