squarebear, once you've finished reading the Oxford English Dictionary my I suggest the telephone directory next... I couldn't really get into the story but the cast last was impressive :)

That reminds me. A telephone directory makes a handy, inexpensive personal name/address,/phone number book: just cross out the names of all the people you don't know.
