Electricity Box & Meter
Who is responsible for the maintenance of the mains box and meter?
I ask because I have found woodworm or something has eaten the backing board which holds the mains box and meter and rendered them dangerous.
The energy supplier told me that I would be charged 35 fo each of two visits; one to disconnect and later after a new board had been fitted, to re-connect.
I wondered if it was not their responsibility to ensure their equipment was maintained.
