How is this for coincidence, my friend from Bucksburn phoned this morning asking if I could help her with four clues to "HOW DOES YOUR GARDEN GROW".

She gets her quizzes from Strachans at Inverurie and somewhere in Oldmeldrum.

I have 4 maybe 5 to get from "IN THE HAIRDRESSER".

The new Dragonfly quiz is a good one.

Well, that is a coincidence! We did put some quizzes in Strachan's, which shop in Oldmeldrum would take quizzes? Maybe you could find out for me? Had a look at the Islands quiz this afternoon and managed to get them all except No5. Will send off for the Dragonfly quiz,
I saw my Fraserburgh friend tonight. These are the names of the shops that she gets her quizzes from.
Reid's Paper Shop ( School Street ).
Doctor's Surgery ( Finlayson Street ).
Baird's Chemist ( Mid Street ).
Garden's Chemist ( Mid Street ).
Biccochi's Ice Cream Shop ( College Bounds ).
The Fish Plaice ( Hanover Street ).
Dygas Newsagents ( Broad Street ).

Hope this is some help to you.

I won't see my Bucksburn friend until Saturday as she is on holiday.

Thanks Stockethill, I've got the grand-daughters some days this week [shool holidays] so we'll have a wee trip to Fraserburgh and try some quizzes in there, still time I think for people to manage our quiz. Thanks again, keep in touch.
Hi Doogied, I saw my friend from Bucksburn tonight. The shop in Oldmeldrum that sells the quizzes is a little paper shop in the square close to the pedestrian crossing. She can't remember the name but will try and find out from her daughter in law who lives there. Hope this helps.

Hi Stockethill, I know exactly the shop you mean, thanks.
Why aren't you sleeping at 3.15 on a Sunday morning?

Oops! You are very observant ! I am seldom in bed before midnight but last night we were out vising friends and we are always late getting home from there and last night we were home about 2.30am and then I usually have a cup of coffee [decaff] to unwind a bit before I eventually go to bed. However I must admit I didn't surface till about 8.45 this morning !! Been a lovely day here today.
Hi doogied, This Islands quiz is a bit of a poser isn't it?
Is a forked clamp a grab or grip and is ratio ra or ro? There's still a couple of weeks to come up with something so I'll plod on.
I've got all my answers ( of a kind ) for "In the hairdresser". Have you finished yours?.
Question Author
Hi Stockethill, I've got an answer for all the Hairdresser quiz, but I'm not happy with No11, can't decide between salon and reception, but it could be something quite different. Any you are not sure of?
Will let you know if I get the island, but I've spent quite a lot of time on it with no success.
I've put salon for no. 11 and posted it off with a heap of others yesterday.
I still have about ten on the go, they are so addictive and enjoyable.
Hope we have success with the Islands one.
