I was dropping my grandson off at my Daughter's on the way to work and I had Brian Matthews on the radio, as i do every Saturday morning for his sounds of the sixties show.
A song came on in the regular Beatles slot called Sun King, my grandson asked what the song was and I said it was a Beatles song but I had never heard of it before (I was never a Beatles fan) and he said he had never heard it either! I just though it was so weird, a Beatles song that we were both hearing for the first time ever and I am in my early 50s and he is 9!

I've never played the abbey road LP, even though I used to sell the thing for 5 years in a record shop! Is it on that LP? It starts off like F Mac's Albatross actually. The song is Sun King, well i think that's what matthews called it. I just thought it was odd i had never heard it before.

have you never heard it either legend? I really don't know why it was so unfamiliar, do you agree it sounds like albatross though?
