Oi ^ I heard that.

I have done a quarter of a marathon (10k) in a fairly good time
Surely you mean your eating the worlds biggest marathon=snickers? Eh pieman?
Brother in-law is running Knobby. What was that tune just on ( oh lucky you ) I know it but cant think what it is? x
Mr Apes is doing a 10k next month Knobby. Our village hosts one every year on the Flower Festival weekend over the late May Bank Holiday weekend. People come from far and wide to enter it. Mr Apes raised 500 for Apes jnr's school when he did it last year. He's doing it just for fun this year though.

It is one hell of a fantastic feeling when you cross that finishing line apes.

It was a road race but the last half mile was on grass and I will always remember hitting that grass (no pun meant) the second you hit it, it your legs turned to jelly and it was like trying to run in wet concrete, but boy what a feeing.

Wish Mr apes good luck from me apes
Knobby, the shots of London are fantastic! Beautiful City!
thought you'd still be running backwards facing Jordan knobby.....
That made me laugh!
I think some people underestimate how hard a 10k is for a novice Knobby. Not that I've ever done it, but I watch the runners every year and see what state they are in at the finish. Well done for taking part. Would you do it again?
Question Author
Yep course I would apes but am 10 years older now but I still run 2-3 miles on the treadmill down the gym a few times a week.

It may not seem that far to run but you do have to train hard even for a 10k run and I got the training perfect I had never run more than 5 mies on the treadmill before and I was about a minute out in the time that I predicted.

I reckon i it was not or the last bit being on grass I woudl have got my time almost spot on
