Is it possible to fall pregnant days before my period is due? Last period started March 27th and lasted about five days. Had unprotected sex on 22nd, 23rd and 24th April. By my calculations i should be due on any day, though not sure wether to count 28 days from start of period or end of period. Could i fall pregnant so close to my due date? and when do i wait to do a test?

Yes, you could be pregnant. Wait 2weeks and do a pregnacy test.

You count 28 days from the first day of your last period and yes it is possible

its always possible to fall pregnant but I would have thought that it would be more likely at around ovulation your chances of becoming pregnant are high, if your period came on the 27th march your most productive days would have been around 10th-15th of april

kynty....remember that any calculations should be based on your last NORMAL period.

but wouldnt i be right in saying that ovulation is only my most furtile time? and that would of be only 7 days before i had sex. Also if i count 28 days from the start of my last period that means i was due on 23rd april....with that in mind wouldnt i be 3 days overdue now? should i still wait 2 weeks or isnt there a pregnancy test that u can do days after ur periods late? ive got three boys already so pretty fertile and ive got sore boobs (could just be imaging it)

there are tests you can do now. I can't believe you have 3 kids, yet don't know how to calculate day 1 of your cycle.

you are most fertile just before and during ovulation, but as many mothers will confirm, it's not out of the question to fall pregnant outside of that time.

3 consecutive days of unprotected sex is more than a little careless if you don't want to be pregnant.

ovulation should only last a couple of days, you would be out of the window of opportunity at 7 days after ovulation.
of course that is a guess as you know your cycle better than everyone!, why not buy a test? they work from quite an early time now

sorry, didn't mean to make assumptions! I just presumed as you mentioned unprotected sex that there was also protected sex going on :o)
