Hi, My 12 year old grandaughter has an awful problem with acne on her face. She is being bullied at school through it. We have tried most remedies and visiting her doctor, but nothing seems to work Has anyone had success treating this problem? If so, we would be very gratefull for help.
I'm 22 and i somtimes get some on my forehead. I find TCP really helps. About 30 mins before she has a bath or shower put some on all over her face, a word of worning though it does sting and smells a bit funny but it really works for me and it did for my mum when she was a teenager too. Also try to get her to cut down on sweet food and drink neatle tea which you can gety from all good health food shops. hope that helps and good luck! xxx
Also to help with the apperance buy her some conceler. i really like number 7 from boots as it goes on really well and really helps to cover up spots. If you go this week and spend 5 in store they'll give you a 5 voucher off number so the conceler would only be 2.50
Its hormones,So its unlikely that they're going to disapear completely, but throwing in more water, fruit, vey,a multivitamin, som "tea tree oil" products and steaming the face once a wee should help you greatly. Good Luck!
i too have been there but more recently and i'm now 23!!! i have found a new clean and clear advantage face wash (used once a day as it's strong) which helps fight and prevent spots as well as helping to heal and reduce redness. so far it's working quite well. When my skin was at it's worse i used the clinique range and found that v effective but expensive. hope this helps and she can soon feel happier
