Fixings on UPVC frames

I want to fix a plastic door blind to stop flies getting in the conservatory but am uncertain about trying to screw a metal hook into the plastic. Will it hold like it would if it was into wood?

Before you try that (and maybe damage the plastic) try Duck tape, or a similar adhesive tape that is specifically made for outdoor use. Choose a width that will give a generous overlap on to the blind and on to the plastic. Don't get Sylglas sealing tape, because that's designed to seal the edges of horizontal glass panes on greenhouse roofs, and it will slowly fall off a vertical surface, because it's quite heavy. Best of luck.
