BBQ party
20 Answers
Hello everyone, I have just joined today. I need to find my way around I think.
My son is wanting a BBQ party and I was looking for suggestions for the kind of things that should be included. Obviously we will have the usual suspects - chicken, burgers and sausages etc but I was wondering if anyone knew of any unusual or different things we could have? Thanks.

Cut some lamb into pieces (shoulder is best - you need a fatty piece to make the meat moist)
Stick the lamb in a dish, drizzle with olive oil, a few cloves of garlic and a pile of fresh rosemary. Leave to marinade overnight in the fridge.
Thread the meat on skewers & stick on the BBQ.
You can put whole bananas on the BBQ. When the skins have gone dark, split them open & serve. I let the kids put squirty cream on theirs...and the adults get a slug of dark rum on theirs.
Tinned or fresh pineapple slices - cover in brown sugar, wrap in foil, stick on the BBQ for a few mins & serve.
