3 Skypephone

Hi all,
Does anyone know anything about the 3 Skypephone mobile? is it worth buying ? are there any problems I should know about?
The reason I'm interested is because my grandson is going to Hong Kong in August on a Uni exchange programme & we figure it could be an inexpensive way of keeping in touch. Ron.

Hi Ron

You need to phone 3, I think, because their website says:
You can only access Skype in the UK but the people you can talk to can be anywhere in the world.

Which seems to make it useless for your grandson's needs. I am sure your grandson will have access to wifi whilst he is away, and can use Skype from his laptop.
