bottle water should be checked for sodium content as some do have sodium (salts) in.
Look for bottled that says N/A next to sodium content.
Some brands of formula do come in smaller tins (SMA does for sure)
i have tap water for my baby since about 9 months, but it depends where you are as to wether the water is safe

thanx,i have seen the smaller tubs cow an gate number 2 but hes on number3,ill check the supermarkets though,at this age it just seems a bit pointless boiling up the water when like you say everything and the dogs ears go in their mouths!!haha!was thinking about the water as they might ask me to empty it through sustoms and id have to buy water from boots for him,il check out the mineral content, only going to majorca but cant wait!!whoo!
if youre only going on a short flight will you need a bottle for him? Just buy a carton of ready made once through security if you need to.
Im taking no drink and buying it after security. I shall just get water and one carton for little one and Im hoping she'll take to cows milk whilst we are away.

ooh didnt think of that red,you mean just give him normal milk while we are in spain?at 11 months will he b ok with that?yeah was just guna buy a bottle of water at boots etc through customs for him on the plane and when we get there.can you take bananas, actually im sure they sell them in the cafe in departures, just such an early flight and he loves his brekki!!
hi,
my 10 month is on cows milk and only has one formula (only because i'd just opened a new box) so using it up. but it was the HV that recommened i switch to cows. so don't worry about it. my daughter gets her morning bottle as formula and the other 1 or 2 bottles as cows milk
there was no problem when she switched. you should try giving one bottle cows milk now, before you go away. see how the little one takes to it
i'm away abroad last month and was checking with the airport security rules for formula.
you can take powder on the plane but not ready made cartons, it then goes on to say you can buy bottled water once through security but again not cartons. if you were to take cartons they'd have to be put into the bottle before security and tasted
you can take jars/sandwiches etc for on the plane but have to be tested at security
each airport is different so it would be worth checking out what your one says. there was about 2 pages long info on my local airport security rules. i'd imagine they'd all be pretty similar though

oh yeah. was meaning to say. its the airport your to check not the airline security rules.
when i was checking out flyglobespans site for food/formula rules it was them that said something like - it doesn't matter what the airlines rules are as the airport security rules might be different and to check their site out
