My cat (Mr Sneekes) has started dribbling profusely today.
Does anybody know why?
(No Stanley Matthews jokes I'm pretty concerned,he's my brother from another mother)
Check his teeth to see if there is a problem with them. As kira suggests he may also have got some grass or something stuck in his throat. Could he have eaten something odd or even been stung?
A couple of years ago our cat started dribbling,we took him to the vets who confirmed his a couple of his teeth were bad andhe was in pain,so out they came,.better let the vet see him in case he is in pain.
My cat had this problem a few years ago and I took him to the vet as I thought he'd been poisoned. Turned out he had a mouth ulcer at the back of his tongue. No hard food for a couple of days!
My cat had the same problem.....she had oral cancer, and nothing could be done for her,as it progesses very quickly.
Don't want to scare anyone...but it is a possibility.
