turn on the hot water tap in the kitchen to pour out some hot water as the wetback has made the water cylinder boil.

When it boils it sometimes makes the boiling water spurt out the outlet on the roof.

If you have a water meter fitted your charges would be based on the amount of water you use, rather than being a fixed amount each year based on the rateable value (RV) of your property

No. Water is not metred where I live in NZ. I don't think it's metred anywhere in NZ actually.

We can use as much as we like for no charge as far as I know.
