seemingly rational people turn into complete morons when it comes to car parking?

I live in a narrow street and if you get 2 cars parked opposite each other , then no-one else can drive up or down.

3 times this week I've not been able to drive down the strreet and park my car on my own driveway.So have had to leave it on the main road which is always extremely busy.

Just a rant really, but am fed up with it.

you should complain to the council about it, people know its wrong but they are so desperate not to be late or because they dont want to pay for parking that they would rather leave there car parked where it causes a nuisense than plan their route more effectively

You are right to rant, the society 2day is that of a selfish one & apart from a few, people just dont give a sh!t about other people anymore, gets me down 2. Next time it happens i would park in their way so they cant get out & they would have 2 come & find you & you can say thats how you fell when they do it. x

a bloke near me used to let down the cars tyres until the people stopped parking there

I used to live in a very long narrow street...one night the old chap across the road set his house on fire.....after the fire engine had been not one car had 2 wing mirrors....

my driving instructor told me not to park opposite a car that was on t'other side of the street, always leave plenty of room in case of ambulances, fire engines,etc. some folk are brain-dead i reckon. (driving instruction was well over 20 years ago!) you are entitled to rant ! x
